CakesDecor Theme: Figurines & Models (Part 2)

Hi Everyone!

There have been so many fantastic figures posted over the last few months and I have been collecting them to post in this week’s theme, ‘Figurines and Models, Part 2’. I have to say that the figurine theme has to be one of my favourite blogs! Perhaps it’s because I’m terrible at modelling that I just have so much respect for all of the incredible cake artists featured!

Also, this week the lovely Lin from Sweetlin has shared a fantastic new tutorial on Pretty Witty Cakes on how to make a beautiful standing girl from start to finish! I absolutely recommend it – fantastic details and lots of tips! There are also two free tutorials by Lin: one on how to make flesh-coloured modelling paste, and the other on how to paint a girl’s face. It’s always so exciting when very talented artists share their knowledge with us, so if you haven’t seen them yet then do pop over and have a look. They’re fabulous tutorials!
