Thanks Gorgeous Benni! I love them, they’re huge here at the moment. The real one I did was so much easier lol! :) x

It’s really lovely. What technique did you use to cover the double barrel?

<3

Thanks PetraT and Calamity Cakes! :) I used the wrap method to do the double barrel and placed a strip of fondant over the join. Once I have placed the lovely new peony from Michelles course, I plan on finishing the join with either a line of piped pearls (like the back of a wedding dress) or a line of piped stiches (like the back of a corset) I felt that I needed to see the finished effect of the peony before I decide which finish to apply. I’ll post photos of the finished join on my facebook page :) x

Well that sounds just lovely! :)

Amazing work.

Been decorating for two years but never worked with dummy so far..
I though they were easier? No need to work on the edges and all..
Can’t say I look forward to either..
I love how the stencil turned out..

Thanks Veena :) They’re easier in some ways, harder in others. But i definitely prefer real cake. There’s much mote weight to cake for a start, so you have a surface you can work against without it wanting to skate across the table Haha! ;)
