Thanks PetraT and Calamity Cakes! :) I used the wrap method to do the double barrel and placed a strip of fondant over the join. Once I have placed the lovely new peony from Michelles course, I plan on finishing the join with either a line of piped pearls (like the back of a wedding dress) or a line of piped stiches (like the back of a corset) I felt that I needed to see the finished effect of the peony before I decide which finish to apply.
