Thank you all so much. Minkyman: for the wings I cut out the basic shape from thinly rolled florist paste, threaded a 24g wire through them along the straight side and thinned/cupped the edge with a ball/bone tool on a foam pad and also added some texture grooves with the ball tool. I also ct out some small holes with a royal icing tip. I then airbrushed them (first blue, then some dark blue for edges and then some pearl) and finally added some red and white hand painted detail.
