My daughter’s class studied bugs this year, so that was the inspiration for this cake. Niki specifically requested that the bugs look real so I did my best. I might have gone a little crazy with the details, lol! :)

Awesome cake! I was wondering did you find it difficult to use the wilton fern molds? I had a really hard time with them when I was making my tinkerbell cake.

Thank you all so much!!! Jennifer the Wilton mold is a little difficult, but I find the easiest thing to do is stick in the freezer for about 15 minutes and then trim the excess off with a sharp knife before unmolding.
