I have always had a passion for cooking and baking which was born out of necessity in being the mother of 4 boys. My cake decorating journey began in August 2011 as I wanted to make my childrens birthday cakes look better and become skilled enough to one day open a bakery. That summer I lost my job and decided to leap as I learned and dedicated myself to building Bliss Pastry. Eventually I did return to full time employment however I work from home which lets me balance cakes in with my other responsibilities. My goal is to become skilled enough and busy enough that I can walk away from corporate America and never look back.
