Hi, I also use the marshmallow fondant with much success, but if I don’t have any on hand, I use the Wilton fondant. I know many people don’t like it because it doesn’t have much flavor, but it is very good for covering cakes without tearing. If you are having trouble with tears, it may be that the fondant is drying out, or you are rolling it too thinly. Make sure you condition it properly and if you can get the Mat from SweetWise, it will make a great difference. I use it all the time and my fondant always comes out just right.
