Dear Laura Loukaides and cupadeecakes, thank you for the advice! Baking is a part time hobby but I am paid by friends and family whenever there is an order. When there isn’t an order I try to practise, but lately nothing seems to turn out ok whenever I am doing it. It was lucky there wasn’t any order or request for cakes or cupcakes. I think the stress came from my full time job as a lawyer..
Apparently yesterday evening when a mutual acquaintance requests last minute for cupcakes today for a good cause, I was able to do it as it was for the kids from an orphanage for iftar and I didn’t want to disappoint them. I stayed up late and manage to pull it off though I made simple deco only.. Thank God! It was for a good cause and no payment was made. But they make me feel pretty good again..
But as advised, I will take a break from baking these two weeks and just try to concentrate on work only… Thank you!!!! XOXO
