I know Facebook helps a lot. I’m not sure where you are located but, creating a Facebook page for your business and using the Boost Post feature will definitely help. It does cost $ but, you have complete control over how much you want to spend. Also, check with your local newspapers. They have community sections that will ‘report’ on new local businesses in the area. Stop and visit with the most popular wedding venues and drop off a business card and pictures of cakes you have done in the past. If you have a store front, make sure you make some dummy cakes for display. Contact wedding photographers and DJ’s and let them know, too. There are so many ways to put yourself out there!! I’ve teamed up with a photographer, a caterer, a DJ, a florist and reception hall and we all have each others business cards to hand out when one of us consults with a bride. Best of luck to you!
