If I had to make this cake on such a large scale, I would use either bamboo skewers or wooden dowels to support the lower and upper jaw. (I once made Elmo’s Arms with rkt and they broke and fell off!) I can’t blow the photo up, but the mouth doesn’t look as large as it appears. It looks like the back part of the mouth is solid, meaning the opened of the mouth is smaller the it appears. I hope this helps,
