I don’t have any experience with naked cakes, I had one on order once but, the bride changed it because her mother didn’t approve. Go figure…. Anyways, if I was concerned about the picks holding in the sponge, I would add some white melted chocolate behind the flower as well and hold until set. Good Luck!
