I am a stay at home Mom and picked up cake creating when my first daughter was about to turn one. I wanted to do something special so I made a pony from a shaped pan. Although it seems more of a simple thing now, that was a big step for me to take considering I had never done anything like it before! I had a blast with it and quickly picked up other projects. I'm still pretty new to it all and have so much to learn, but have come a long way since that pony cake. I am self taught but owe a lot of my success to sites like this where people are willing to lend a hand and share their experience with others. :)
