Hello everyone and HAPPY NEW Year, I hope you have loads of exciting news ahead of you in this coming year. In this tutorial I attempt to make a good introduction to using clay for making flowers covering things like what is and isn’t polymer clay for flowers , and what to tint / condition Cold Porcelain with, thanks for watching, let me know if I’d missed anything interesting.

That’s amazing, Christina!!! Thank you so much! 💗💗💗
One question: For how long will the petals stay flexible after drying? Is Modena the clay which stays most flexible?

Thank you for sharing Christina!

Thank you :) If it’s branded cold porcelain , the petals stay flexible indefinitely, apparently. So far I have few flowers made with Modena, and yes, they stiffened a little compared to what they were 3 weeks in but remained the same for a year after, pretty flexible and bendable. Thai clay is also very flexible 3 months on, so will bend and not break. Self made, unfortunately gets more and more brittle as time goes on , brilliant for practice as good as branded to work with , nearly, but NOT any more worth for long term storage than sugar imho
