This Ivy tutorial is in Polymer Clay using Gum Paste techniques. This foliage is time consuming to make in this finish, (not if you simplify it) but it is NOT difficult . It’s incredibly popular with cakes, it seems , just check out Pinterest! Scroll down to watch the tutorial

I just saw your video on YouTube! I loved the way you used your fingers to paint, I have to try this method, Christina 😍

Thank you , Martina and Clara. Finger painting is great and I will be crazily tempted to try it when I finally get brave enough to use oil paints on my cold porcelain, but it does kill your hands , really not to be done too often, I should have mentioned it in the video!

This is so pretty!!! I would love to use it for both gum paste and for polymer. When using it with polymer clay, at which stage would you bake the leaves: before coloring, after coloring, before adding the wire stem, after adding the wire stem?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hiya, thank you, this is air dry polymer clay , potato clay , which is very similar to Modena, which is what I normally use for this work, but I was just trying it out . I’ve never used non air dry clay
