Sugar Flowers #6: How to make Life-like Sugar Leaf

I finally got around to fiddling with my foliage a bit, trying to improve on my a little. I find making foliage super boring but I’m pleased with the results, so glad I’d tried. Hope you find this vid useful, thanks for watching!

I’m so glad you posted this video! Sure makes me feel better because I have to keep playing with the shading as well. Love trying to make the foliage look as real as possible. Thanks again!

You’re welcome, Rudi, you don’t have to you use the very same colours, but use your own colour scheme instead, cool or warm, but what helped me is to layer it with 3 different colours in the stages as per video, to add it a bit of a dimension while keeping the subtlety and , I hope , natural looks! Good luck with your project , Christina

Thank you everyone who left kind comments about this tutorial. Many people ask me to make a video comparing gumapaste and cold porcelain, I think I might do this for the next week, or the week after!

I used egg whites to do this !
