Hello everyone. One thing guaranteed in life is change, and so very happy to announce “Callicious Cakes” has a NEW NAME ….

Since 2010 I have been on the most inspiring journey in confection, taking me on a journey that never in my wildest dreams I expected. The heartwarming joy of giving through cakes, the pleasure it brings to others, has fuelled my passion when creating celebration and special occasion cakes. A special thanks, first and foremost, to family, friends and clients who have ordered cakes from me. Each one a personal and joyful experience.

I have so many others in the industry to thank as well, and constantly awed, grateful and humbled by the kindness, opportunities, support and love I’ve been shown. Its been delightful getting to know so many of you over these past few years, some personally, with true friendships forged. Then other experiences took me to brave exhibiting and demonstrating at Cake Shows. I got to travel and teach (with more coming up in 2017) as knowledge sharing I find so satisfying and integral to others’ growth through learning. I’m privileged to have been featured in several magazines globally. Winning the prestigious Cake Masters “Cake Artist of the Year 2015” Award has been one of my biggest highlights and treasure the recognition bestowed upon me.

2016 has found me more involved with other aspects of art, outside of cakes.I’ve been doing more paintings (as well as working in other mediums) and delighted to have commissions coming up in 2017.

You might be asking if this mean cakes are coming to an end?
Answer: an emphatic NO!!!!! not at ALL!!!
My passion for cakes has not diminished and I still have some exciting things coming up in 2017 AND 2018 which I’m very excited about. However, adjustments and priorities have had to be made.

During 2017 I will start showing other aspects of what I create on my new website, (not here on Cakes Decor , as this is a cakes website)
A website and blog is being designed which I will share with you once up and running.
