These are my own step-by-step instructions, if you choose to follow my pictorial, you must give credit to me.
Now, I’ve never eaten bacon nor ever made fondant bacon, so when I needed to make some, I had to look at photos of store packages of bacon and get an idea.
If you have any constructive criticism to make these bacon even better, please let me know :)
I used these three colors to start with :-
I rolled them out quite thinly :-
I cut them randomly like this :-
Lined them up like this :-
I squished them together and rolled them again :-
Now they look like this :-
I trimmed the edges then placed them on gently ruffled aluminum paper to add waves:-
To add a darker, richer color, I used cocoa powder and darkened some of the ridges :-
The final look :-
