A word of thanks

CakesDecor and the generous and lovely members that are a part of this corner of the cake world has always been such a happy place for me.

I remember my first post ever, and all the sweet messages you took the time to write, simply to help me celebrate my cakes – every single one of them! The friendships I have made with people from all over the world through cakes has been wonderful.

I have experienced something very recently that has given me pause to reflect. Cakes. It means different things for everyone and it’s an interesting dynamic to watch. For me, did you know it’s through all your positive encouragement that makes my heart glow? I have challenged myself, enjoyed myself and it has been a pleasure sharing this happiness with you. It’s truth, what Oprah Winfrey said – “Surround yourself only with people who are going to lift you higher.” I’m pleased that we can be that for each other in this little community.

So just a silly moment to say, THANK YOU for being the joy that lifts me higher! Thank you for being the kind word. Thank you, especially, to all those who really spread the feel-good stuff, protecting one another’s hearts and light that keeps us all shining brightly.
