What a fantastic article Sharon! Loved it. I read it via my email and after scrolling further down ….then did a shout for joy as I DID actually make it to the Daily Top 3 yesterday!! Soooo excited! You covered so many great points and I am in awe of the totally amazing creations that are posted daily. I don’t always get to see it every day but I catch up where I can. Marianne I am so appreciative of your comments and full congrats on getting the top 3, woohoo, well done lovely! SR sweets I am so glad you understood it. Advertising can be super expensive but by just adding a watermark to your picture you have done it for free. For anyone who does not have a watermark and wants one there are sites for making one or I am always here to help in any way possible.

Hello Sharon, thank you for your articles, it is always a great read! I love this site and so enjoy looking at all the amazing talent here, I am always incredibly excited if I do get a cake published to the home page, it always means so much to us all, although I do understand all the great tips and explanations you have given us to help, I am still a little curious about getting on there as I have on occasions had cakes with more likes and faves than the ones that are on the home page that have been posted later even though the 24 hours has not run out, I was just wondering how often the page is updated or whether it is automatically changed.
