Actually Linda the mess is underneath the stripes. I covered it (or tried to) in fondant and then I was going to do a few stripes & such. When I saw the way the fondant was ripped all over the place I knew I had to rethink the design (after a few tears & panicking-lol). It is SMBC underneath so it would have come off if I tried to remove the fondant so….. I smoothed it out as best I could and then just cut those stripes & decided to cover the entire cake that way. I’ve had issues with heat & humidity before but not as badly as this one. It just seemed to be melting.
