Cake-sprite

I am a cake designer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I started as a trainee cake decorator back in 1999 and have loved it ever since. I opened my own shop in 2003, but have recently returned to cake decorating after a break (due to my family situation) so I'm launching a new business soon.
I am hoping to start teaching evening classes in the near future and have started writing a cake decorating blog to encourage feedback and suggestions about my teaching style and what people want to learn about.

I love anything creative and run an informal craft group with friends taking on all different types of crafts and projects. I love helping others to expand their skill base, become more confident n their abilities and try new things. My favourite cakes are always the more challenging and unusual ones and I specialise in sugar paste modelling.

My other love is my 'colony' of 3 gorgeous little sugar gliders.
