This is my submission to Cake Central Magazine. I was really honored to be asked to participate in such amazing magazine full of pure art. I was asked to inspire my cake in Rosemaling birds and soon I started to work on. I wanted to create a cold winter cake so I decided to go with only two colors and highlight it with silver.
The cake is hand painted mostly and I created some gumpaste plaques which I also hand painted in sapphire blue and highlighted in silver. Of course there is no Christmas without a Poinsettia and little snowflakes accent.
