A 5 tier 1920s style cake, inspired by wedding dresses and bouquets.
Bottom tier is covered in edible feathers (lots of them!)
next tier is covered with pleated fondant with a beaded flower embellishment
next tier is covered with edible vintage style pearls, with gumpaste flowers and royal icing dots piped in between.
next tier is lustred fondant with edible cake lace
next tier is a ball covered with flowers, with pearls, edible lace and feathers.
This was my entry into cake international at the Birmingham NEC, I was awarded a Silver medal
