Hey! Wanna Fight? Here comes Japan’s superhero ‘Ultraman Mebius’ to do battle with sinister aliens and monsters that threaten the people of Earth. With one fist up and the other in defense, this super-humanoid-powered giant from outer space seems to be issuing the challenge!
Made this Ultraman themed cake featuring a 3D suqar figure of Ultraman Mebius popping up from the cake for 4 year old Alexander who loves the 2006 Japanese TV show of the same name. As Ultraman comes from the stars, I airbrushed the sides of the cake with different shades of blue and violet, followed by splaying white airbrush color onto the cake with a toothbrush to give the effect of stars and galaxies. The front side of the cake was airbrushed and then hand painted to give a ‘star burst’ effect to highlight the birthday boy’s age.
Thanks for looking! :)

Wow Pauline! I love it! The way you did the finish on the cake really does look like a night sky, and I love the star burst effect in the front with the number 4. Your figure is amazing as well. If I show my grandson this cake, I know he will want me to try to make one!
