I wanted to do this cake because I’m not a fan of pregnant belly cakes (they can look a bit tacky) so I wanted the challenge of turning it into something pretty. Some of the flowers were my 1st attempts at using rice paper, the ranunculus was made using a tutorial from the very talented Kara of Kara’s couture cakes and the others were gumpaste. The leopard print was a request from the customer.
