My cake is named “Dichotomy”. I chose this piece because wanted to show the internal struggle between our light & dark sides. I was inspired by my favorite shirt that I’ve had for a long time. It is covered with skulls in pink & white, with lots of bling & Swarovski crystals, fleur de lis, & it says both ‘Saint’ and ‘Sinner’ across it. Every saint is also a sinner, & there is always a dichotomy in human nature.

One side of the cake is the Saint theme, with the pink, white & gold colors representing purity & innocence. The other side of the cake is the Sinner side, with black, red & silver representing sin, blood, & evil.

The skull is Pumpkin Pound Cake, the middle tier is Chocolate Mud with Salted Caramel Buttercream filling, and the bottom tier is Vanilla cake with Cream Cheese Buttercream filling. All edible.
