This is a creation for the national contest “Cake Fest Italia”; the theme was love in great work of art. The cake won first place. We have been inspired by the wonderful sculpture by Gianbattista Bernini “Apollo and Dafne”.The technique is the bas-relief, completely made of sugar paste.
