My daughters first birthday cake, I wanted to try a tiered cake so with my daughters first birthday approaching I decided to do a flower and butterfly cake in pinks and whites. Using some printed icing sheets in different colour combinations, sons modelling paste flowers, butterflies, hearts etc I created thus cake.
One tier is lemon & vanilla sponge with lemon drizzle and vanilla buttercream and the 2nd tier a vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve.
