This cake was a special request for a Yai Yai who was turning 90. It had to be special, because reaching 90 is a great achievement in life!
I wanted to make the vase and flowers as keepsakes for Yai Yai Maria.
The top tier was white chocolate date and spice mud, filled with white chocolate buttercream. The bottom tier was a chocolate mud with fresh raspberry swirl.
I received a lovely ‘thank you’ the next day from Phyllis, who completely trusted me to create something lovely for her mother-in-law. Always a lovely family to work with.
