I was asked to do ‘one of those Barbie cakes where you stick the doll in the top’, didn’t have a problem with this until she said she liked Sofia the First.
Don’t know about you but I thought that the traditional Barbie figure wouldn’t work well with this cake as Sofia is a child and doesn’t have the same ‘attributes’ as Barbie. I made the descision to make her from scratch out of modelling chocolate and sugarpaste.
I think she’s pretty, though I guess I am biased ;).
