Lots of firsts in this one – first ever birdcage (I had steered away from them as everybody seems to be doing them but sometimes you go with what the bride wants), first ‘floating’ bottom tier with lace, first ever attempt at ‘Amnesia’ roses – or at least my version of them but I loved the overall effect and the bride was delighted with it.
