Our first Icing Smiles, Inc. cake is a combo young Merida & Little Ariel cake. Abbey is the brave big sister to Lila, who struggles with Cystic Fibrosis, a life-shortening genetic disease. When we were called to action by Northern CA Icing Smiles representative, we were told that Abbey loves Ariel from Little Mermaid and Merida from Brave. She really loves their red hair. We decided to represent the characters, hoping to capture them at their young age, not as adults as in the movies since Abbey is also very young. We hope to have represented them well in a brave, fun-loving, and carefree way. Abbey, just like Merida and Ariel, is brave and loving to her little sister. We were so blessed and honored to make this cake for her and to have met her, Lila, and her family.
