Because we are having such a lovely long summer, and the Boston Ivy is looking like it’s on fire at the moment,
I was inspired to make this Wedding cake.
The base is in shades of Ivory fondant, with white acorns, oak leaves, blackberries, autumn berries and stag.
The tree was made with florists wire, covered with fondant flower paste, shaded in various shades to try and give the effect of an Oak tree in Autumn. I hope you like it.

This is so Gorgeous Karen! I love the white acorns, leaves, autumn berries, and deer. They look amazing against the ivory fondant. You really did capture the oak tree in all of it’s fall glory!!

Ah, thanks Toni. I love to hear you say fall, it describes this time of year much better than saying Autumn.
I have to admit, it’s my favourite time of year, and this cake is probably one of my favourites so far. Because my Birthday is at this time of year, I think I notice the season more xx
