A friend wanted a baby shower cake for a double baby shower. both having girls and owl themed. She sent me a picture of the one nursery that had the owls swinging from a tree with different colored leaves and flowers. i didnt know for sure what I was going to do but I wanted to try modeling chocolate and then decided to make the tree 3d and the owls. I wasnt sure how well the tree would do but I think it came out pretty well. I also decided I didn’t want just a plain cake for the base so I watched hours of youtube videos and decided on the petal design. i didn’t want it to pink so decided I would jist rotate in all the colors of the tree decor. i am happy with how it came out. sure it isn’t as neat as it should be but many firsts and the customer is happy.
