This cake is hot of the Kakery press today, and for the 80th Birthday of a lovely lady called Barbara whom I had the pleasure to work with more years ago than either of us want to remember…lol !!
Her Daughter bought her a Daisy necklace for her birthday so we designed this cake together around it.
We went for a raspberry pink fondant, with coffee base so it wasn’t too “Barbie”, bees and of course daisies.
The sponge was my ever popular rich chocolate fudge brownie recipe as requested……….enjoy Barbara xxx love you lots xxx

Thank you Ana, Elli and Goreti, I don’t think the bee is as cute as Elli’s though, but I do like the little sleeping baby bee. xx

I know what you mean Karen, I don’t get to do many girly cakes. I mostly make children’s birthday cakes for my grandchildren!
