Vintage Lace Wedding Cake

This cake was made for another Catwalk event for Fashion Designer Annah Stretton. As New Zealand has just legalized ‘Same Sex Marriages’ – this was made for a dream wedding that was held on the catwalk at New Zealand Fashion week. However the cake design requested was just the cakes with lace. At the venue the cakes were enrobed with fresh flowers for the floral theme. These photos are what I took with my own little practice flowers – I thought they went well on the cake! Even though the photos look similar – there are a few differences – lighting and placement of flowers.
