I was very honoured to be part of the Cakenweenie project in celebration of Tim Burton’s birthday. My contribution to the project was this Absolem from Alice in Wonderland cake. Absolem and his hookah are made entirely of fondant with the exception of the tube running from the hookah to the pipe which is 18 guage floral wire. The figure sits atop a 6 inch half ball shaped cake that has been piped with royal icing leaves. TFL!
