This was my winning entry in the British Sugarcraft Exhibition in the ‘Wild and Wacky’ sculpted novelty category. I took inspiration from the wonderful Children’s illustrator Lithuanian artist Kestutis Kasparavicius from his ‘House on the Hat’ drawing. Cake was carved from RKT and as it was a Grasshopper’s house I hid grasshoppers in the grass so hope you can see them. Little house at the rear was a grasshopper’s WC so it was certainly wacky and a lot of fun to make. Hope it gives you a smile.
Amazing, Very well done!!
