It’s Tim Burton’s Birthday!
Looking back on an old project: This was a massive gingerbread house that was built for a competition (I won, yay!) in 2008 and it is modeled after Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. The entire display actually has 2 sides, one side featuring Nightmare Town and the other featuring Christmas Town, complete with their respective characters all made out of marzipan!
To really appreciate the scale and complexity of this work though, you’d have to check out the video.
