Air New Zealand Plane Wedding Cake topper for 2 Brides ~

I am an ex-Trolley Dolly with Air New Zealand (Hostie with the Mostie / Air Hostess / Cabin Crew / Wagon Dragon / Flight Attendant …as we are sometimes called! :) ) I have a soft spot in my heart for planes and Air New Zealand. I was thrilled when asked to do this topper for the wedding cake.
As you know that New Zealand has formalized Same Sex Marriages – so to celebrate Air New Zealand ran a competition. The winning couple got to get married onboard this All Black’s plane (2nd photo) and the reception was held in Auckland.

At first I was going to make an animated plane, but decided to make it a bit more realistic. You have gotta hand it to Air New Zealand for their gorgeous themed planes and their whacky Safety demos! They have an awesome MARKETING team!
