My sister in law is over in the UK for the first time – we struggle a little with language so we thought cake might be a great exercise that required lots of fun but less speaking! She helped making the colours up and cutting the blossoms and I finished off. It was for my mum’s birthday – the blossom is beautiful in Korea and the relevance of the bearded tit is that it’s one of the only native UK birds my mum has never seen (so she’s seen one now). Lots of fun making it!
