I recently made this cake for little Jesse, the son of a very dear friend. For his 1st birthday, I made him a Thomas the Tank Engine and he was very upset when poor Thomas got the chop! So this year, I made a plan so he could keep Cookie for his bedroom :)
The Cookie jar is a 6 inch white choc mud with white choc ganache on the bottom and a 6 inch chocolate mud cake with choc ganache carved into the top of the jar.
I designed the cake to have a completely separate, ready-to-go Cookie Monster topper for Jesse’s Mum to save. The lid is styro and I just removed Jesse’s name from the cake board and stuck it on the jar lid as a keepsake.
Naughty Cookie Monster got hungry on the trip to the park and started chomping on Jesse’s 2! :) xx
