This is Theodore the Chipmunk, My first Standup Figure carved out of cake , he is about 40+cm (16 inches) high and a bit on the plump side especially the bottom half ;-) , that’s why he became Theodore instead of Alvin. For some reason I thought that this was the worst cake I have done so far :-( ( maybe it was because I had to change the character?) , until I was told otherwise by family and friends :-). I don’t know whether I am still convinced yet though? :-0.
The head is RKT and the rest is cake.
This is the second birthday cake I did in the mist of organising the family birthday lunch for my darling son.

Love this one and I love the picture of the head on the plate, I know it is RKT and cake, I know it is not real but I still have goosebumps when I look at that picture :-)

Oh Dina Thank you so much. I know your feeling about the head on a plate, worst thing is I had to take it off myself nobodyelse was game for it :-[.
I am very sure your carving will turn out great if and when you try it out.
Maybe because it was my first time, I couldn’t bring myself to carve too much out ’cos I kept thinking for some reason that I was wasting the cake that is why Alvin had to be turned into Theodore ;-) and my hubby keeps laughing about it :-(
