School leavers cake

I made this cake for my sons school leavers party last night. It was a 10" and 7" two tier Madeira cake, and featured the names of all the children in his class. Was a very emotional cake to make but much loved by all the children.

Hi, would like to know what did you use for those coloured balls? Were they chocolate or sweets? I’m in the UK and not sure if I can get them.
