Check out the groovy eye wear, transformed new look and angry expressions of these Angry Birds after they traveled through a portal into outer space and landed onto the moon in this “Angry Birds Space” themed cake.

The cake resembles the shimmering top half of a greyish moon with craters and features a 3D fondant catapult together with six 3D sugar figures of the birds in this variation of the game. They are (from left to right) “Bomb” (black bird), “Red Bird” (iconic red bird), new member of the team “Ice Bird” (icy blue square bird), “Blue Bird” (small bird on the catapult), “Lazer Bird” (purple bird) and “Terrence” (big green bird). No pigs have been harmed in the making of this cake. Lol!

Cake was for a Grandmother’s 60th birthday celebration. Shows that you are never too young or too old to play this addictive game. Psst… I am an addict too!

This is so awesome……and Psy’s long lost cousin made a guest appearance too (he’s the one with the black glases). I did hear he was missing for a photoshoot so I hope he got back to earth OK…..lol….you so rock Pauline :) :) :)

Thanks so much Jo! The purple one was actually the yellow bird in the original game but transformed into this 80’s look purple bird after going into the space portal to rescue his eggs. Very creative… These Angry Birds franchise people. Lol! :) xxx
