The majority of cakes I make are for children (my favorite) so they may not be as delicate and intricate as other cakes on Cakesdecor—but I enjoy it!

This is a 1st birthday cake I made for a little guy who’s baby shower cake I made last year. The cake has 4 tiers that measured 10", 8", 6", and 4"—whew, that’s alot of cake! There were cupcakes that accompanied this cake but I forgot to take a picture of them.

BTW, the top tier of the cake is a removal smash cake for the birthday boy. I always try to incorporate the smash cake as part of the overall cake.
