Oh, this one was so much fun! It’s for a 9-yr-old boy who loves sharks!

He requested lemon cake, so the cake is lemon cream cheese pound cake, with lemon cream cheese buttercream filling, white chocolate ganache icing, & lemon-flavored fondant. The shark is carved from Rice Krispy Treats, coated in buttercream & covered in fondant. His dorsal fin is molded from chocolate & covered in fondant. I airbrushed the main parts of the shark & then hand-painted the mouth.

I was really pleased with the waves, as I had an idea in my head of how to do ocean waves, & it turned out beautifully! All the ocean creatures & coral are fondant as well. Here is a video showing a little more detail: Shark!!! Video
