This cake was for the 70th Birthday of a lady who really loved her garden.
Victoria sponge, with the usual strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream filling.
I really like the way this cake looks full of warmth and the kind of golden sunlight that you get at the
end of a perfect day.
It brought a smile to my face, and I hope the lady enjoys looking (and eating), it too.
