I made this cake for a friend for her friend’s birthday. She loves butterflies so it’s just a 2-tier cake (WASC cake with fresh strawberry SMBC) and I tried my hand at some simple piping on the sides and top, which I really need practice on!

The butterflies are freehand cut from gum paste. I cut the wings and then painted them once they were dry and then assembled them and put them on the cake.
