A friend of a friend was let down by a family member that had offered to do the cake but then backed out at the last minute. Well, a month before the wedding which felt like the last minute to the bride! The wedding colours were the powder blue and claret of Aston Villa FC (that’s a soccer team for those in the US) :0)
The layers were alternating chocolate with ganach and vanilla with buttercream.
